It's the end of a great weekend and usually in the "past" (meaning just a few weeks ago) Monday morning would consist of me stepping on the scale and it would reflect exactly how "good" my weekend was. Usually a 2 or 3lb gain...one weekend I think it was actually 7lbs (I'm not kidding), I then would spend the entire week working off that weekend. I'd get up and run at 5:30am, hit a workout class in the evening and eat salad and chicken through the week. All that effort just to turn around and do it again the following weekend. That was insanity, everyone knows the definiton of insanity "Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results"....that is me, correction, I should say that WAS me. The Skinny Jeans Challenge is teaching me about how to enjoy splurges within a guideline, it's the 90/10 plan....stay within the nutritional guidlines 90 percent of the time and then 10 percent of the time enjoy a splurge. Tomorrow, (Monday) morning I plan on stepping on the scale, my guess is that scale will reflect that I am breaking the cycle of insanity once and for all!
